Rank Name Notes
General James Coree Chief of Member Services, Starfleet Command
Admiral Tim Shell Deputy Fleet Commander, Starfleet Command

All personnel reported for duty at designated coordinates. No crew were unaccounted for.

III. Operational Summary

The ceremony proceeded across three phases: a pre-ceremony reception (1400-1500 hours), the commissioning ceremony proper (1500-1600 hours), and post-ceremony celebrations (1600-1800 hours), followed by a planetside dinner excursion.

Command Transfer & Reclassification

At approximately 1530 hours local time, General Coree officially transferred command of the USS Terminus to Lt. Commander Sterling. Official orders were transmitted confirming the vessel's reclassification to Protostar-Class, along with a new ship registry: NCC 81011. Crew complement was confirmed at 32 members, moving the Terminus out of medium-ship designation entirely.

The Admiralty expressed considerable concern regarding the condition of the ship's paint. Command has assured all parties that no scratches to the hull will be forthcoming. This reporting officer notes the sincerity of that assurance will be tested at the earliest opportunity.

Lt. Commander Sterling addressed the assembled crew with an eloquent statement of the Terminus's goals, character, and the direction of her command tenure. Reception was highly favorable.

Promotions and Commendations

Recruit Elaine Sweatman was promoted to Ensign and Operations Officer. Recruit Topher Kohan received a Ribbon of Meritorious Conduct in recognition of his organic search optimization work on the Terminus website, a contribution Command considers both unglamorous and essential, which is precisely the kind of work that earns a ribbon.

Logistics and Crew Equipping

Crew were issued new ship stickers, Engineering Notebooks, and Meshtastic SenseCAP Card Tracker T1000 units, intended to improve away mission communications in regions without standard comms coverage. Starfleet Engineering considers this a meaningful upgrade to field readiness.

IV. Environmental Conditions and Hospitality

Conditions at the Commanding Officer's residence were well suited to extended operations. Refreshments included pinwheels, fruit and chocolate hummus, chocolate chip cookies, Gramilian Sand Peas, Skittles, a veggie tray with ranch, and delightful baked lemon, fruit crumble, and brownie bars.

Beverage service was assessed as excellent, with particular emphasis on EXCELLENT, and included:

  • Worf's Warrior Mimosas (prune juice, ginger juice, sparkling wine)
  • Homemade Punch
  • Dragon Con Bourbon
  • Laphroaig

Crew bonding and socialization were sustained at a high level throughout. Extensive discussion of musical theatre was led by Lt. Lewis and Ensign Boucher and is logged as a notable cultural exchange subprogram.

V. Diplomatic Engagement: Post-Ceremony Dining

Following the conclusion of on-site operations, the crew relocated to Los Arcos for a diplomatic dining engagement. Food was assessed as delicious. The house margaritas received initial criticism from Recruit Veronica Dashiell, though further sampling revealed a marked improvement in her assessment with each subsequent glass. This officer logs the finding without further comment.

Vice Admiral Campbell reported ongoing difficulty locating a beer to his satisfaction. No solution was identified during this engagement. Further study is recommended.

Los Arcos is hereby recommended as a suitable diplomatic venue for future Terminus operations in the region.

VI. Incident Report: Hydration Systems Failure

A minor incident is logged for the record. At an undetermined point during the celebration, a full glass of water was spilled, resulting in what this report classifies as a massive hydration leak. No injuries were sustained. No equipment was damaged beyond the affected flooring, which was addressed without further escalation.

Separately, this officer notes for the record the earlier-mentioned conduct of Lt. JG Corbett and Lt. JG Conrad, both of whom elected to maintain their Zoom attendance while in the vicinity of an active logging truck hazard. While their dedication to ship business is commended, Command wishes to formally state that ship business is not, in fact, worth risking encounters with logging trucks. This is now a matter of official record.

VII. Overall Evaluation

Mission Morale: Exceptional
Crew Cohesion: Substantially Reinforced
Command Transfer and Reclassification: Confirmed
Promotions and Commendations: Successfully Issued
Hull Paint Integrity: Unblemished, Pending Further Verification
Dining Engagement Outcome: Highly Satisfactory
Hydration Systems: Compromised, Resolved Without Further Incident
Overall Classification: Resounding Success

The operation is classified as a resounding success.

VIII. Future Operations

The USS Terminus, now designated NCC 81011 and standing at 32 members strong, is cleared for continued operations under Protostar-Class designation. Crew are reminded that their growth made this reclassification possible and that the ship would not stand where it does without their continued participation.

Further deployment details to follow via standard crew communication channels.
